When it comes to going to France, people usually think of Paris first. But for our trip this time, we didn’t choose Paris. Instead, we chose other cities that we also had to visit. Our first stop was from Turin to Lyon, France, because it was very convenient to get there from Turin (we lived in Turin). Then we set off from Lyon for Marseille, and after that, we arrived in Nice and went to Monaco. Finally, return to Turin from Nice. I spent a six-day trip to France. We didn’t go to crowded scenic spots. We basically focused on experiencing the city atmosphere. The entire journey was very pleasant and relaxing ~(except for unexpected situations like delayed buses on the way). Besides, there were VlogLyon and Lyon vlogs filmed in every city. So let’s start this journey together ~
The first stop: Lyon

Before we set off, we checked the recent local weather. Lyon is relatively much colder than Turin and it has been raining all the time, but it doesn’t affect its beauty at all.
Here ‘s a little tip for you: ❣️
✨ do not carry too much cash when traveling abroad. Take some loose change. Most of it is by card. Consider convenience and safety. The consumption in Lyon will be a little higher than that in the southern French cities we visit later. But overall, it’s still similar to Italy. The prices in supermarkets are a bit higher than those in Italy.
✨ Lyon has many museums. The whole city is elegant and artistic. There are many cafes along the streets. It is very pleasant to have afternoon tea on a rainy day. French desserts are very delicious
Restaurant recommendation
Les Cafetiers offers Brunch, lunch and afternoon tea. Their salads, sandwiches and Yogurt are highly recommended
02.Yaafa’s top-ranked vegetarian restaurant offers Western fast food that is healthy, delicious and time-saving
Nice gives me an overall impression of being clean and artistic, with a slow pace. It’s a very suitable city for relaxation. Many of the city’s buildings are in pink, blue and mint green, which are both cute and artistic! So it’s very suitable for taking photos and can also make people feel very good! Everything seemed to slow down, accompanied by a fine drizzle.
Compared with hotels, I prefer guesthouses. I feel that they are closer to the local people’s life and can better experience the original flavor of this city. At the same time, one will also learn the outstanding advantages and characteristics of the lifestyles of people in different countries and cities during each trip. For instance, the life of the French is extremely refined!
The landlord in Lyon makes breakfast every morning and sets it on the table ️, carefully arranged and kept warm!
The second stop: Marseille

The weather in Marseille is really nice! The sun is shining brightly, and the sea breeze is blowing! Neither too cold nor too hot!
Throughout the journey we prefer Marseille ️, which was the least expected at the beginning, but it was beyond our expectations. The warm sunshine and the unique blend of various cultures make it well worth a visit. Remember to go to the top of the Church to overlook the city of Marseille!!
Marseille is the city that surprises and amazes me the most among these. Every scene is so beautiful that it takes one’s breath away. Coupled with the intense sunlight, the entire city seems to have been automatically filtered!
The church in Marseille is on the top of a mountain. At first, I strongly refused to climb to the top, but the scene I saw after climbing up immediately made me forget all my fatigue. Every picture is like a painting! I strongly recommend that everyone take the trouble to climb to the top! Overlook the entire city of Marseille!
Restaurant recommendation
Of course, Marseille is all about seafood!
Toinou

Address: 3Cours Saint-Louis (A seafood restaurant recommended by the Marseille landlord. You can also buy fresh seafood to cook at home. Highly recommended!)
✨ On the night of our stay in Marseille, we asked the landlord about the seafood restaurants worth visiting in Marseille. So the landlord recommended this one. You can eat in the restaurant or buy fresh seafood to cook at home. Both are good choices. There is a large seafood shop of their family right in front of the store. Right in front of it is the restaurant
✨ we spent two days in marseille and had dinner at this restaurant for both days. Highly recommended! The price is reasonable and the seafood is fresh and delicious. This is a restaurant that many locals go to eat at and has also been visited by many celebrities. It can be imagined that the reputation is indeed good!
