Hello, everyone! Long time no see! It’s been a long time since I last saw you. Today, Holiday Bacteria will take you to have a look – a trip to San Francisco, USA. San Francisco is also translated as “San Francisco City” or “San Francisco”. It is a port city on the Pacific coast of California, USA. It is a world-famous tourist destination and the fourth most populous city in California. So today, let’s introduce some scenic spots to you all ~
Union Square

Union Square is located in the heart of San Francisco. Around the square, there are all kinds of restaurants and shopping malls. Almost all the well-known brands you can think of can be found here. Just take BART (a type of transportation in the San Francisco Bay Area) and get off at Powell Street. This commercial area is quite large. Gao Wen has been here many times but still hasn’t been able to explore it all.
Walk straight up Powell Street and you’ll reach San Francisco’s Chinatown. It is said to be the largest Chinatown in American cities.
Lombard Street, also known as the Nine-Bend Flower Street
You can take a tram from Powell Street to Nine-Bend Flower Street. If you don’t want to waste time queuing, taking a bus is a wiser choice. The ticket price is approximately $2 and $1 for students. The key point is! Keep this ticket and you can take it for one day (only for the same type of bus, excluding trams, double-decker buses and other means of transportation).
Although it only takes about thirty minutes to walk from Powell Street to Nine-Bend Street, a friendly reminder: Don’t be so depressed that you just walk there. Don’t ask me how I know. The streets in San Francisco have very steep slopes. This half an hour will make you question your life.
Golden Gate Bridge
There were a lot of people and the wind was very strong. I almost blew my hat off on the bridge. It takes about 20 minutes to walk the whole way. Many people also go there by bike. Of course, you can also choose to cross the bridge by bus, which costs $6 per person (vehicles only need to pay the bridge toll when traveling from north to south). When my family and I crossed the bridge around twelve o ‘clock, there were quite a lot of people. But by about one o ‘clock in the afternoon, it was almost a huge crowd. It was a luxury to stop and take a photo. It is said that the sea south of the Golden Gate Bridge is particularly beautiful and the water is very blue. Due to time constraints, I didn’t stay for long. I hope I can come to the Golden Gate Bridge next time to watch the sunset and see the foggy Golden Gate Bridge on cloudy days.
Summary
These several scenic spots in San Francisco are actually very close to each other, with very convenient transportation. Moreover, most of the vehicles can reach the Golden Gate Bridge and Powell Street. This time I’m traveling with my family. I might suggest it to friends who are not suitable for traveling alone. There aren’t many scenic spots to visit. The above is for your reference only.
Another point to note is that San Francisco is rather cool and the wind is very strong. Remember to bring a slightly thicker coat.
If you just take a cursory look, you can finish it in one day, but this way the time will be rather tight. Here, it is recommended that you visit in the following order: Powell Street – Chinatown – Nine-Bend Flower Street – Fisherman’s Wharf – Golden Gate Bridge – Palace of Fine Arts. Take BART from Oakland to Powell Street and it will take about 20 minutes to get there. The round-trip fare is $6.9. Then take a bus ($1) to visit all these attractions. The total transportation cost is only $7.9.
So traveling around San Francisco on a budget is completely stress-free. After all, all these attractions are free of charge. Of course, it’s quite difficult to resist shopping at the first stop, Union Square, a shopping center.
