Here are all the must-visit photo spots in Bali!

If you are ready to go on vacation to Bali or hold an overseas wedding, you mustn’t miss this guide.

Scenic spot

1.Kuta Beach

The liveliest beach at the southern tip of Bali is a paradise for surfers and “late sleepers”. If you want to experience the fun of surfing, this is the right place to come. There are surfboard rentals and surfing instructors everywhere on the beach.

The bustling commercial street is nearby. From small markets selling all kinds of traditional Balinese handicrafts and splendid ethnic costumes to large department stores, you can enjoy one-stop shopping services!

  1. Jimbaran Beach

This is a beach filled with luxurious five-star hotels, offering you ultimate enjoyment. The intercontinental Hotel and the popular Ayana Hotel Resort that you are familiar with are both located in this area.

You can enjoy sunbathing by the beach and savor a delicious seafood feast at a beach restaurant. The local regional cuisine will tease your taste buds.

  1. Uluwatu Cliff (Lover’s Cliff)

A cliff on the southwest coast of Bali is truly a love paradise on the island. Couples visiting Bali always take photos here.

Every approach of the waves is like a visual blockbuster, and the eyes have completely become prisoners of this beauty.

There is a group of mascots at Lover’s Cliff – monkeys. But these monkeys are not very reserved. Remember not to get your things snatched when taking pictures with them.

  1. Sea God Temple

On the sheer cliff lies a Sea God Temple, entirely constructed of hard granite, facing the surging sea. It is one of the three major temples in Bali and is renowned for its unique sunset over the ocean.

Evening is an excellent time for photography. The sunset and the temple complement each other, and the splashing waves crash against the rocks, creating a very spectacular scene. There is a protruding rock on the right side of the temple, which is an ideal spot for shooting the sunset and the Sea God Temple.

On the way to the Sea God Temple, there is a road filled with Balinese gift shops, and along the way, there are restaurants for tourists to rest.

  1. Volcano

Indonesia has the largest number of volcanoes in the world, among which there are many active ones, making it a major attraction of Bali.

Mount Agung, Mount Linchani and the Blue Flame Mount Izhen are all good choices. But remember to keep an eye on the official information. If a warning is issued, you might as well visit other places and leave this regret for your next trip.

  1. Deglalang Terraced Fields

This staircase to the north of Ubb, in harmony with the coconut groves, has become a unique rural landscape of the island.

Along the approximately 1-kilometer-long roadside lies this unique landscape. You can enjoy an Indonesian-style meal at a roadside restaurant while taking in the enchanting terraced field scenery.

Bali Swing Scenic Area

The Ubu Swing is not very large in the entire park. The swings are divided into five different heights – 5 meters, 10 meters, 15 meters, 20 meters and 35 meters respectively. There is no limit to the number of times you can use them. If you are bold enough to ride multiple times, just queue up again.

ps: Remember to wear solid-colored and bright clothes or a flowing long dress, and let your hair fall naturally. At the moment the swing swings out, pressing the shutter can capture the ethereal feeling of being blown by the wind.

If you think the swing is too challenging, are afraid of heights or lack enough courage, the Big Swing Scenic Area also has a photo landmark for you to choose from – the Bird’s Nest.

Twin Waterfalls

The location of the Twin Waterfalls is very mysterious. To get there, you have to put in a lot of effort. Besides renting a car from a local, you also need to hike through the rainforest.

But everything was worth it. Clear waterfalls cascaded down from left to right, and the gentle and clear pool water formed a natural swimming pool, as if it were a secluded paradise on earth.

The environment here is quiet and peaceful. Not to mention the sea of people, it’s hard to find a second person to appear in the picture. It’s an excellent location for taking good photos.

Ayana Resort Hotel

This hotel is quite famous. It offers floating breakfast, H2O swimming pool and rock bar. Staying at this hotel directly is enough for you to enjoy for many days.

In the evening, head to the popular check-in bar rock bar, order a cocktail, listen to the waves crashing against the cliff, and enjoy the night in Bali.

There are 12 swimming pools. The H2O pool, where you need to queue for half an hour to take a photo, is also inside the hotel. Unique private beach, world-class sea bath spa and rock spa, golf putting range and fitness center.

I’ve seen many popular photos of floating breakfast at Bali hotels on Instagram. Here you can find it. Enjoying breakfast gracefully under the blue sky and clear water, the photos are very beautiful.

Delicious food

The easiest way to understand the characteristics of a place is to have a meal there! The cuisine of Bali is full of exotic flavors and makes one’s mouth water.

In the human mind, taste is always familiar and stubborn. It is like a taste positioning system. Whenever you savor it, it will lock onto the places you have been to.

Only by trying all the local traditional and characteristic snacks can you make your trip worthwhile.

Dirty duck meal

As the most famous specialty dish of Bali, the duck is roasted until it turns brown. The crispy duck meat can be easily torn off by hand and is definitely worth a try.

Roast Suckling pig

As the eternal favorite of the Balinese people, traditional spices and a mixture of vegetables such as cassava leaves are filled inside the entire Suckling pig, which is slowly roasted over charcoal fire, making it crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.

This dish was originally only used for public hospitality at special celebrations and ceremonies, but nowadays it can often be found in some specialized roast Suckling pig stores and restaurants.

Seafood

When traveling on an island, you can’t miss seafood! The unique feature of seafood in Bali lies in its roasting using dried coconut shells as fuel, complemented by butter, minced garlic and local specialty curry sauce, which adds a rich and intense aroma of the sauce.

Sitting on the beach of Jimbaran, enjoying the magnificent sea view while savoring the delicious seafood is a delightful experience.

The so-called “hot”, “classic check-in” and “must-visit” are merely references for your travel plans. A true journey is to follow your heart. The world is so vast, and only by moving forward can you have surprises.
