Many people are unaware that in the United States, there are still some niche and mysterious beaches. These treasures are hidden in picturesque corners. Today, let’s uncover them together

The fifth place: Sedge Island. Sedge Island is an island located in New Jersey. You need to drive to the Island Beach State Park parking area first and then take a boat to reach it. This place is not only a coastline but also a pristine wetland area. Its most prominent feature is its original wildlife reserve. It is also home to many species, including migratory birds, Marine life and unique plant communities. When you are playing here, you may also see elegant egrets dancing gracefully, cheerful dolphins leaping in the deep blue water, and brilliant wildflowers blooming on the sand dunes.
The fourth place goes to Kauapea Beach. Kauapea Beach is also known as Secret Beach. Just as its name suggests, the beach is located between Kalihiwai Bay and Kilauea Point. It can be accessed via a steep path, and this path is unmarked, so few people come here. Kauapea Beach is vast, with a coastline of 1.2 kilometers. Its fine yellow sand and azure waters, along with cliffs and mountains as the backdrop, add to the magnificent scenery. When you walk on the yellow sandy beach, you will feel as if you have merged into nature, feeling particularly insignificant. Kauapea Beach is an ideal place for surfing, sunbathing and beach walks, and it is also suitable for snorkeling. However, it is worth noting that due to the lack of development, the waves can sometimes be very large. If you are not very experienced, it is not recommended to go swimming in the sea.
The third place goes to Lanikai Beach. Lanikai Beach is located on the east side of Oahu Island in Hawaii, about a 20-minute drive from the state capital, Honolulu. It is hailed as the most beautiful beach on Oahu Island and is also one of the best beaches in the world. Lanikai means “Paradise Sea” in Hawaiian. The beach is formed by coral reef debris and the sand grains are extremely fine and soft, making it very suitable for barefoot walking and beach activities. The sea water is crystal clear. On the shallow beach, colorful schools of fish can often be seen, and in the distance, there are rows of coconut trees. Another feature of Lanikai Beach is its two small islands – Moku Nui and Moku Iki. You can also go there by kayak or small boat to explore the beautiful scenery and rich Marine ecology of the island.
The second place: Shell Key Preserve. Shell Key Preserve is a nature reserve located near St Petersburg, Florida. There is no bridge connecting here, so the location is particularly secluded. Shell Key is surrounded by a wide stretch of white sandy beach. It is wide and flat, with white and fine sand grains. There are all kinds of shells on the beach. The ecosystem of Shell Key is diverse and rich, featuring various ecosystems such as the ocean, wetlands and sand dunes. Furthermore, Shell Key Preserve is also an important breeding ground for sea turtles, where many sea turtles breed. Snorkeling and diving are the most popular activities.
The first place goes to Awahua Beach. Awahua Beach is located on the Kalopapa Peninsula of Molokai Island, with the peninsula backed by the world’s highest sea cliff. Visitors must enter through a path on the top of the cliff, and they must join a guided tour group to enter on foot or by mule. Otherwise, you can only view the beach from the public observation deck! The beach is composed of clastic sand and is black in color. Therefore, it is also called Black Sand Beach. Because the beach is so natural, there are often undercurrents, and the seabed near the shore drops rapidly. Here lies an uneroded original beauty, and one can’t help but marvel at the mystery of nature.
